Bliss Browne, Curriculum & Organizational Consultant

Bliss W. Browne serves as a strategic advisor to Destiny Outreach’s Dreams & Destiny® Campaign in the areas of program design, curriculum development and organizational development.  Browne also serves on Destiny Outreach’s® Regional Educational Advisory Council.

Bliss W. Browne is the founder and president of Imagine Chicago (www.imaginechicago.org), which helps people develop their imagination as city creators. It offers everyone, especially young people, the opportunity to invest themselves in the city’s future. She is an ordained Episcopal priest, and was formerly a corporate banker and Division Head of the First National Bank of Chicago where she worked for 16 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in History, the Arts and Letters, a Master of Divinity in Theology from Harvard Divinity School, and a Master of Management in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Bliss is a former Director and Chairman of the Center for Neighborhood Technology, an Advisory Board member and past Chairman of the Mid-America Leadership Foundation, former executive Trustee of the Council for A Parliament of the World’s Religions, Trustee of the Chicago Sunday Evening Club, and Advisory Board Member of Public Allies. She serves on the Chicago Historical Society’s Community Advisory Board, the Illinois Fatherhood Initiative Advisory Board and the Voices for Illinois Children Committee of 100. Bliss has been a participant in the Harvard Kennedy School of Government Saguaro Seminar on Civic Engagement in America. Bliss lives in Uptown and is the mother of three teenage children.
